Oral Fluid Drug Test – Instructions

Preparation

Ensure the donor has not placed anything in their mouth (e.g., food, drink, gum, or tobacco products) for at least 10 minutes prior to sample collection.

Sample Collection

Step 1: Open the Device and Collect Oral Fluid

• Unscrew the collector cap.
• Remove the collection stick with sponge from the collection chamber.
• Insert the sponge into the mouth.
• Close the mouth and gently chew the sponge.
• Swab the inside of the mouth and tongue.
• Continue for approximately 3 minutes until the sponge is fully saturated.
• Ensure the sponge is soft with no hard spots.

Step 2: Secure the Sample

• Remove the sponge from the mouth.
• Place the collection stick with the saturated sponge back into the collection chamber.

Step 3: Start the Test

• Secure the cap firmly.
• Start the timer immediately.

Step 4: Interpret Results

• Peel off the label to view the test strips.
• Read the results at 10 minutes.
• Do not read results after 1 hour.
