Description
This starter kit is perfect for anyone first getting into drug and alcohol testing. As it includes a range of products that you will use every day on the job. These products and their uses are listed below.
Sharps Container
As the name suggests this container is for binning sharps after use. This is important as some urine confirmation kits use a sharp needle to extract the urine sample.
Absorbent Pads
These pads are used on your work surface in case of spillages. Also, to comply with the Infection Control Procedures in the AS/NZS 4308:2008 standard, you will need to lay down these absorbent pads where testing equipment and consumables are used. *not directly photographed.
Onsite Screening Paperwork (Saliva, Urine & Breath)
In the kit, we include 2 booklets, each containing 25 pages. On each page there is screening paperwork for Saliva, Urine and Breath testing. This paperwork is printed on special triplicate carbonless copies, meaning that each time you fill out this paperwork it makes 3 copies simultaneously.
Latex Gloves
Wearing appropriate PPE is apart of the Infection Control Procedures when conducting drug and alcohol testing. Latex gloves are one of the most important PPE to wear and a fresh pair should be donned for each sample collected.
Security Seals
These security seals are to be placed on any taps, windows or the toilet cistern to prevent people from cheating the test.
Blue Loo
Add this colouring agent to the cistern/s of the relevant toilets before starting the testing. Make sure you give the toilet a single flush for the agent to run through the toilet.
